Vinyl Siding Panels

Vinyl siding is made from a synthetic plastic polymer. Modern Vinyl Siding panels are much more durable and strong than panels of the past. Vinyl siding contracts and expands by half due to temperature changes, so it stays in place and holds up over time. Vinyl siding panels when installed create energy efficiency and they reflect radiant heat, reducing thermal conductivity to help keep your house cool. It is virtually indestructible and is resistant to fading, insects, and harsh weather. It’s even resistant to winds of up to 110 mph!

Cedar Ridge Panels

Cedar Ridge Siding is the best siding on the market whose panels mimic the look and feel of real wood. If you’re looking for a siding with a real wood look but is more durable, this siding is for you.  Cedar Ridge also comes in a variety of textures and colors. Each individual panel strengthens walls for a clean, smooth finished look. Additionally, these panels feature a SmartTrack system with moisture management ridges, which prevents water from being trapped behind the siding. The individual panels of Cedar Ridge Siding are extremely impact resistant. They are able to withstand harsh weather like winds of up to 160MPH and hail damage. As you can see the unique makeup of this siding makes it extremely durable and beautiful for years to come!

Fiber Cement Siding

Fiber cement is made up of a few simple ingredients; cement, sand, water, and cellulose fibers. James Hardie’s formulation includes proprietary additives that enhance the performance of the product. These individual panels are heavy and require two people to install when placed on the house. Once placed and installed properly, they are virtually indestructible. These panels can come pre-painted with a baked-on color technology which resists fade and wear over time. Additionally, this siding is extremely rot and pest resistant. It is also the only siding on the market that has been tested and rated against fire damage. If you want a siding that truly stands the test of time, choose James Hardie Fiber Cement Siding.

I appreciated you pointing out that vinyl siding panels nowadays are much more stable and stronger. That’s probably why my husband wants us to opt for vinyl siding. I should advise him to work with a contractor that specializes in vinyl cladding systems.
